Ok, so did we really trash the dress? No, we didn’t even come close. Truth be told, we don’t usually trash the dress, but we’re all for trashing it if you are! We’re currently trying to think of another fun & clever name to give these sessions. I’ve heard many other names such as, day after session, rock the dress, encore session, and so on, but we’re working on a name all our own. So, what exactly do we do in our “trash the dress” sessions? We have fun! We get great shots that are relaxed, that are about you, and we don’t fuss about the dress. It’s about showing off the dress, not worrying if it gets dirty, but most importantly it’s FUN! So, have any ideas what we could call these fun, after the wedding, portrait sessions where we may or may not trash the dress?
Monica & David had a beautiful and elegant wedding at the Wynn Las Vegas and wanted something totally different for their trash the dress session, so we agreed the Freemont St. area was just perfect for our session! But, first the classic shot at the Welcome sign! Enjoy!!
M+D: Thank you so much for hanging out with us the day after your wedding! We had a blast with you guys
Earlier this year, Emeric Photography partnered with Juliet Douglas, owner and lead wedding planner of Green Orchid Events for a fun photography giveaway. We were giving a Love Portrait Session, to be used as an engagement session, trash the dress session, or day after session!
To enter the contest you just needed to comment on Green Orchid Events Blog and tell us about how you met and fell in love. The winner was selected randomly so they weren’t being judged on how they met, we just love to hear some good stories!
Thanks again to the amazing Amelia Cline for making Becca look even more stunning and to Green Orchid Events for making this giveaway happen!
ps. that veil was knitted by Becca herself..she’s got talent and is a total Gator fan! love it
I recently had a mom contact me about wanting to give family portraits as an anniversary gift for her daughter and son-in-law. I, of course, thought this was a fab idea and was thrilled she wanted me to do them! She wanted the session to be a surprise, but obviously the family had to be prepared for the photo shoot; you know, nice outfits, hair done, etc! So, we decided a gift certificate would be the way to go! Mom was thrilled and so was I because now we had a great new product to offer her and all our other clients, too!
Isn’t it just pretty?
Know a new mommy-to-be? Surprise her with a newborn photography session!
Friends buy a new place recently? Help them decorate their new home with beautiful images of their family!
Got any graduating nieces or nephews? A senior session with Emeric Photography is way cooler than Olan Mills!
I can go on and on, but you get the idea, right? If you’re looking for a fun, fresh, and unique gift idea for your friends & family, an Emeric Photography Gift Certificate is definitely the way to go! No wrapping paper needed & they really are one-size fits all!
Just give me a call: 702-481-2944 or send me an email: jessie@emericphoto.com to place your order.
The fine print:Gift Certificates can be activated in any amount, used in combination with other gift certificates and special offers. Each gift certificate will be personalized just for you. Gift certificates do not expire.
Ok, ok, so we don’t “literally” have to trash your dress….unless you want to!
Trash the Dress sessions aren’t necessarily about ruining your dress, but about showing off your dress!

Here’s the plan:

We’re going to have an awesome time!
